Pharrell, Mark Ronson To Remix Kings Of Leon Songs For Album
Among those artists are two of Hip Hop's heralded producers - Pharrell Williams of the Neptunes and Mark Ronson.
Ronson, who has recorded with Rhymefest, Ghostface Killah, Amy Winehouse and others, is joined not only by Williams, but by Justin Timberlake, Kenna, Lykke Li and Linkin Park, according to Billboard.com.
"It's neat to have these people who we would've jumped at the chance to work with ourselves...coming to us before we even get a chance to ask them," said Kings of Leon's drummer, Nathan Followil. "It's amazing to hear your song played by these people who are so creative. Most of the time it takes me two or three listens to even wrap my head around, 'Oh man, that's our song...'"
In addition to their current tour, Kings of Leon has plans to release a live DVD featuring a show filmed at London's O2 Arena in July.
