The Black Eyed Peas Make Billboard History
Hip Hop group the Black Eyed Peas [click to read] have made history with their singles “Boom Boom Pow” and “I Gotta Feeling”. Together both songs have remained #1 on Billboards Hot 100 chart for a total of 20 weeks with “Boom Boom Pow” at #1 for 12 weeks and “I Gotta Feeling” at #1 for eight weeks.

In total, “I Gotta Feeling” and “Boom Boom Pow” have sold almost six million digital downloads. Both songs were featured on the Black Eyed Peas [click to read] latest album, The E.N.D. [click to read] which was released on June 3.
“Without everyone doing their part, the stars never would have aligned,” explained Fergie in a statement. "This was a group effort, thank you to everyone who helped to keep these songs on top.
