Plies Throws $50,000 Into Concert Crowd
Rapper Plies [click to read] "not only made it rain, he made it precipitate." The Atlantic Records star performed before a confirmed 22,000 fans at the 107.9 FM Birthday Bash at Phillips Arena. Per the rapper's publicist, he enterted the stage with a duffle bag containing $50,000. Joined by a reported 50 models donning "Becky" t-shirts, the rapper relieved himself of the money, throwing it into the crowd.
The act was in promotion of his new single "Plenty Money" [click to listen]. The Drumma Boy-produced single is said to be the last from 2008's Da REAList [click to read], before he unveils his Goon Affiliated project, due later this year on Atlantic.
