Soundscan Error; Tech N9ne Debuts In Top 20

In a rarely publicized turn of events, Nielsen, the people behind the weekly Soundscan chart reports, made a calculation error with this week's releases [click to read]. As a result of this error, one Rap titan, Tech N9ne [click to read] was not initially reported as a Top 20 debut, a place he is believed to be deserving of.

Strange Music, who in conjunction with RBC Records, released last week's Sickology 101: The Study Of Being Sick [click to read] sent HipHopDX evidence from Soundscan that said that the initial reports of 18,649 units sold should actually be 21,455. This move puts Tech N9ne above Jadakiss' [click to read] The Last Kiss [click to read] in last week's numbers and guarantees him a Top 20 debut.

There has been no word from other artists if this error affected their sales estimates as well.
