Sadat X Album Features KRS-One, Brand Nubian

After releasing Generation X [click to read] just seven months ago, Sadat X is returning with Brand New Bein' on May 5th. The Brand Nubian emcee returns with production from The Rocksteady Crew's DJ JS-1 and JW. "It's great working with a producer as talented as JS-1, and the type of emcees that rhyme alongside me on the album," said Sadat of the project.

This will be Sadat's sixth solo album, dating back to 1996's Wild Cowboys, which spawned the hit "The Lump, Lump." In the last several years, Sadat has worked with Sean Price, Marco Polo and Beanie Sigel.

Brand New Bein' features KRS-One, Buckshot, CL Smooth, Grand Puba, Lord Jamar and others. The release comes with bonus disc of instrumentals, accapellas and clean versions of all songs for radio play.

In related news, Sadat X and longtime friend and collaborator Diamond D will soon begin a 10-day European tour. The dates are posted below:
