50 Cent Reprises Movie Career With Twelve
After passing on The Expendables, 50 Cent returns to the silver screen with Twelve.
After pulling out of Sylvester Stallone's movie, The Expendables to put the finishing touches on his two upcoming albums [click to read], 50 Cent is returning to the silver screen. Variety reports that 50 will join the cast of Twelve. The Joel Schumacher directed film will be an adaptation of Nick McDonnell's 2002 novel of the same name. It follows a high school dropout-turned-drug dealer, whose life sours when his cousin is brutally murdered.
The film Righteous Kill marked 50's last big screen role, although he says the album Before I Self Destruct will be packaged with a film of the same name, which he also directed. A tentative track listing for Before I Self Destruct [click to read] has been released, but the album has no release date yet. Twelve is currently in develeopment, and will likely be released in 2010.
