Akon Employee Blames Suge Knight In Robbery

Christopher Walker, an employee of Akon's in-house producer, Detail, tells TMZ.com that Marion "Suge" Knight was reportedly behind a home invasion robbery that occurred Tuesday night. Police sources believe the five men behind the robbery took upwards of $300,000 worth of cash, jewelry and other personal items.

"Walker says Detail was asleep in one of the bedrooms," TMZ reports. "The men entered the bedroom but did not get Detail out of bed. Instead, they stole $170,000 worth of jewelry from his room."

According to Walker, the robbers also took a 130 pound safe after allegedly forcing him and another member of the household to the ground at gunpoint.

The robbery is at least the second incident involving people close to Akon. In February, Knight fought with Robert Carnes Jr. in Phoenix, Arizona during the NBA All Star Weekend [click to read]. Walker tells TMZ that an alleged debt between the two camps is behind both Tuesday's robbery and the skirmish in Arizona. Knight has not publicly spoken on either incident, and unlike the conflict in Arizona, he has not been named in any official police reports.
