Steve Lobel, manager of the GrammyAward-winning rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony [click to read] is suing clothing line Louis Vuitton after an incident that took place in one of their stores.

According to The Daily News, in June 2007, Lobel was at the Louis Vuitton store in Manhattan for Kanye West’s 30th birthday party. At some point, during the party a temporary wall panel fell on top of Lobel’s head, injuring the Hip Hop manager.

Now Lobel is suing Louis Vuitton, and event promoter Tony Berger for an undisclosed amount. The lawsuit states that the store used the panels to “obscure the store’s merchandise and create a club look.”

We were aware of the incident. We reported it to our insurance carrier, and it is being handled by them,Tony Berger explained to the Daily News.

Louis Vuitton and Lobel have yet to comment on the lawsuit.

Louis Vuitton’s 57th street location in Manhattan has seen its fair share of drama involving rappers. Just a few months ago, rapper Jim Jones got into a scuffle at the store with a friend of Ne-Yo’s.
