An after-party at a hotel for Memphis rappers 8Ball & MJG got out of hand, leaving violence and arrests to be the highlights.

The two performed in Milwaukee last at club 618 Live late on Friday (March 13), according to local news station WTMJ-TV.

Following the show, several attendees followed up by heading over to a VIP after-party at the nearby Hilton hotel's presidential suite. Reports say both rappers attended.

Police were called by hotel security at approximately 2:30 AM on Saturday and were told that a group of around 40 people had crammed into a guest suite refused to leave.

Police arrived and broke up the party. A group of individuals were caught on hotel security camera attacking a 35-year-old man, who was treated at a hospital. The man told investigators he paid $25 for a VIP pass, and was hit in the head while trying to stop a fight.

Police reported that rapped Lil Tweezy, 36, booked the hotel room where the party had been held, and was arrested for "giving false and incomplete information to police."

The rapper was later released without charges. Police are currently on the lookout for the suspects involved in the beating.

Currently, there is no information on whether 8Ball & MJG were present when the police arrived.
