50 Cent Releases Blood on the Sand, Challenges Fans

With the release of his second video game, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, Fif [click to read] is celebrating by giving fans a chance to play him live on Xbox on March 1st. Xbox LIVE Gold members are invited to send a friend request to the following "gamertags" and must be online half an hour before the 6 p.m. ET session:

Hosted by Xbox, 50's Game With Fame session is just one of several other celebrity gaming sessions. Last week, rapper Jadakiss [click to read] played against fans in NBA 2K9, and band Gym Class Heroes [click to read] battled gamers in Gears of War 2.

50 Cent's Blood on the Sand is the sequel to his successful '05 video game debut, Bulletproof. In the sequel, gamers can play as any of the members of G-Unit, including 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, and DJ Whoo Kid. Characters must travel through a Middle Eastern setting to retrieve a priceless diamond-embedded skull. The video game will include 18 unreleased 50 Cent tracks, and other G-Unit songs. Also included is a score from Swizz Beatz.

50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, is slated for Xbox 360 and PS3 releases this week.
