According his management team, Nas is currently working together on a collaborative album with Reggae star Damian Marley. In addition to confirming reports that his wife, Kelis, is expecting the couple’s first child [click to read], Nas has been working with Marley on the project for several weeks now with the hopes of releasing an album some time this spring.
“We’ve been recording in a studio, where people like Mick Jagger are recording. No one knew who we were,” Nas‘ manager Anthony Saleh told Billboard. “We’re going to Miami this week to finish it up and we’re aiming to tour for the album this summer.”
The duo’s project may possibly include a limited edition album that could be sold in Best Buy or Target. The proceeds for the limited edition album will go towards building a school in Africa.

Last month, it was reported that music artist/actor Mark Curry would be releasing a tell-all book on Hip Hop mogul Diddy [click to read]. Diddy recently responded to talks of Curry’s book through one of his reps.
“This is a work of fiction, filled with lies, written by a disgruntled former artist . . . He was properly credited for the two songs he wrote and never produced any other material worthy of release by Bad Boy,” a representative for Diddy told the NY Post.
According to Curry his book, entitled Dancing with the Devil, will focus on his years at Bad Boy Records where he was featured on several remixes and collaborations.

Curry is currently trying to sell his book through his agent, Deborah Herman.
