Hip Hop will be well-represented at the Grammy Awards, as T.I.. Jay-Z, Kanye West and Lil Wayne will all be there this Sunday (Feb. 8) to befrom “Swagga Like Us.”

T.I. sat down with Sway Calloway of MTV News to speak on the upcoming performance. “I mean, you know, we all are considerably busy,” said T.I. jokingly, explaining why it took so long for them to gather for a live rendition. “We all have different things going on. You can’t really get Kanye out
of Paris. You can’t get Jay off a boat. And you can’t get Wayne off
that bus.

And I’m ripping and running across the country doing all I can to
remain at the top of my game,
” he continued. “So, all of us have our things
going on. But it will be a thing to remember.

Although the rapper assured that Sunday’s performance would be big, the details were scarce – save the revelation that the performance would have a theme, with each artist approaching it in their own manner.

We’ll all provide our own swag toward that theme,” said T.I., who added that there was “Nothing [else] that I care to share. I’m not gonna give away the whole performance. But just know that
everybody offers something new and creative to the performance.
