Slim Thug Goes To Koch, With Star Studded Solo

After his breakthrough 2005 debut album Already Platinum on Geffen/Star Trak Records, Houston's Slim Thug [click to read] has found subsequent success through independent channels. The Boss Hogg Outlawz leader took his group to Koch Records for two charting compilations in 2007 and 2008 respectively. Now the star of the group goes to the New York imprint to release his sophomore solo.

To be released on March 24, Boss of All Bosses will feature the Jim Jonsin-produced single "I Run," from the same maker of Lil Wayne's "Lollipop" and T.I.'s "Whatever You Like." The single will begin rotation soon.

Now off of Star Trak, the rapper has confirmed features from Scarface [click to read], Paul Wall [click to read] and Plies [click to read] on this project. The Boss Hogg Outlawz will also appear.

Label representatives were not able to confirm if the work Slim Thug had done before leaving Geffen, including production from Dr. Dre, would appear on Boss of All Bosses.
