Hip Hop faced one of its first losses earlier this week. On Monday, onetime Monsta Island Czars member MF Bash, formerly known as Invizabul Man, died due to heart complications.

The New York native, who grew up in the same neighborhood as onetime affiliate MF Grimm, also ran Bashton Records, in addition to his role in the unconventional Hip Hop collective once led by MF DOOM.

Ravage, a producer who worked with Bash, said of his fallen friend, “Bash has a serious amount of flows and styles. I’d be with him and
songs just flow the hell out of him like, ‘Rav, I know you got some
new shit, give me something, man.’ So I’d give him a beat and less than
20 minutes, he’s ready to go in on the mic.
