After claiming to have plans to retire after his next album [click to read], it appears as though Lupe Fiasco has possibly revealed his next project.
Various blogs have reported that Lupe will be fronting a rock band called Japanese Cartoon under the alias Percival Fats, in which he is singing in a British accent.
Whether this project will amount to an album or just a few songs is unknown; however, two tracks credited to the group have been released – “Army” and “Heirplanes [click to listen].”

Amidst the blog reports, Japanese Cartoon made a post on their Myspace page, denying that Lupe is the lead singer, but confirming his involvement in other aspects:
