When it took over four years for Philadelphia rapper Freeway [click to read] to finally release his sophomore effort Free At Last [click to read], he knew there was something going wrong with the direction of label heads and executives higher up. With that in mind, Freeway is bringing the music back to the people.
“The month of December is officially the ‘Month of Madness.’ I’ma drop a song a day and a couple videos every week. We gonna give y'all the twelve days of Christmas and all that. I’m gonna be flooding y'all, and you know I’m built for it,” he said in a recent YouTube video clip. Freeway’s “Month of Madness” comes in preparation for his third solo album Freedom of Speech, which is tentatively scheduled for release next year.
