A Hamilton County jury reached a guilty verdict yesterday (Nov. 26) for Hosea Thomas, the man accused of shooting and killing rapper T.I.’s personal assistant [click to read].

Thomas was found guilty of murder, felonious assault and having weapons under a disability, according to Local 12 WKRC-TV news in Cincinnati. He was charged with shooting Philant Johnson to death in May of 2006, when T.I. was in town for a concert.

T.I. testified in court last week [click to read], stating that the shots fired at his van from another vehicle, following an altercation at an after-party, were meant for him.

A trial date for Thomas’ brother, Padron Thomas, has not been set yet – though prosecutors say he was involved as well.

Hosea Thomas will be sentenced on December 23.
