Early this month, the Bay area’s Balance released his Unsigned Legend mixtape with hot deejay of late Nik Bean. Hailing from Oakland, the self-proclaimed “Bay Mixtape King” spoke to HipHopDX earlier this week about his latest effort, adding to the fact that he’s is still in search of a recording contract that piques his interest.

I wanted to give the fans something dope for free to hold them over
until my new album drops with Midi Mafia,
” revealed Balance to DX about his intentions for this effort, as well as his next retail project, assumed to be independent, with the famed producers for 50 Cent and others.

He also added, “These tracks ain’t filler
joints. We go hard on each one because our fans deserve the best.
Unsigned Legend features unheard collaborative work with The Game, Yukmouth, Messy Marv and Crooked I.
