Friday afternoon, the producer who's also worked with Big Daddy Kane, Slick Rick and Miles Davis, told HipHopDX, "There's some people in my camp who got in touch with the makers of the movie, and just kinda, almost demanded I be a part of it." Laughing, Mo Bee continued, "Because I played I played such an integral role in the start of everything with Biggie, and everybody I know, everybody in my camp - everybody was like, 'Yo, why aren't you down with [the film?]. Though Mo Bee admitted he has yet to see the film in its entirety, he hopes to bring the kind of authenticity many fans are hoping for, in his role in the film. "I definitely want to make sure that the sound that goes into the scenes [that I'm doing] definitely exemplifies the type of music [Biggie and I] did together. I definitely want to keep it on that level - anything to preserve the whole thought, the memory of the Biggie that I knew, that we all knew, that's so important to me. So important."
Easy Mo Bee added that while he was unsure if he is portrayed in the film, that the acclaimed producer feels he belongs in Notorious. "I'd hope so," said the man who also made hits with 2Pac, Craig Mack and Lost Boyz.
