Kanye West Expresses His Designer Side, Talks Family

With three albums under his belt and another on the way, its obvious that music has been Kanye Wests best way of expressing himself amidst the highs and lows of his career. However, whether through his up-and-coming clothing line Past Tell, his infamous Nike Air Yeezys, or the luxurious art landscape of his house, it is clear that Kanye sees designing as another gateway for expression.

I wanna make music and I like to perform. I like that, but I really like to design, Kanye told the Associated Press. I'm going to go and take an internship with something and just do something that's like completely normal, and just rap on the weekends or something.

With 808s & Heartbreak set to drop on November 24, Kanye has been a busy man, touring and promoting his new material throughout Europe. Whether or not 'Yes new direction of music gets his point across, he still longs for something that all his success wont garner.

I'm at that point where I long to have a family, especially after losing my mother, said Kanye. I just really wish that I had like the type of woman that would have supported me through a situation like that and been very selfless; it's really hard for me.

Without cracking a smile, Kanye added, Of course for me it's not hard to find a date, but to find a mate is different.
