Lil Wayne Performs With Kid Rock At CMA's

11.13.08   |   by Omar Burgess
Lil Wayne has rock star aspirations, and Kid Rock is a former emcee turned rock artist. The two genres were merged Wednesday night, when both artists performed Kid Rock's "All Summer Long" at the Country Music Awards.

While he is most known for rock ballads, Kid Rock's debut, Grits Sandwiches for Breakfast, featured him rapping over production from his Jive Records labelmates Too Short and D-Nice. He has also toured with Rev. Run of Run-DMC. Kid Rock and Lil Wayne previously shared the stage during the MTV Video Music Awards in September.
