Kurupt was in the studio last Wednesday with alternative rock band Porno For Pyros recording the song tentatively titled 'Snapped' for the Dark Blue soundtrack.

In Dark Blue, previously titled the Plague Season, Kurupt portrays Orchard, a relentless hired killer with a comedic edge. The film is set in South Central Los Angeles during the 1992 Rodney King trial and riots.

The film stars Kurt Russell, Ving Rhames, and Michael Michele. When Launch spoke to Kurupt on the set of the film last summer, he explained how he landed the role.

"They sent my manager a bunch of scripts, and he just said 'do you want to go out and read for this? I said, 'Fuck it. I might as well.' And I went and read out and I smashed him from the door." Kurupt recalled.
