Carmelo Anthony Promotes Berg, Aligns With Cassidy
Cassidy's forthcoming album, self-titled Cassidy, will be released after a disappointing reception of his last album, B.A.R.S The Barry Adrian Reese Story [click to read]. The album, put out the same week as Jay-Z's American Gangster [click to read], sold just over 63,000 it's first week.
Along with Cassidy's new project, Krossover Entertainment also plans to release new artist Berg's first album titled Language Arts. The debut will feature other artists like Rick Ross, Jadakiss, Gorilla Zoe, Raheem Devaugn and others.
"Krossover Entertainment is positioned to experience immediate growth in the mainstream entertainment industry by assembling a high powered team of management professionals and industry tastemakers," Carmelo Anthony told AllHipHop.com about the future of the label.
Before prepping for his debut album, Berg put out a mixtape last month which introduced his alter ego, Diego Ca$h.
"[The mixtape] displays my lyrical growth and dedication to [the] genre of music that raised me into a rapper," explained Berg.
As Cassidy continues to work on his debut release for Krossover Entertainment, Berg will be the first artist that the label hopes to promote.
No release date has been announced for either album.
