Hip Hop Live: Week Ending 11/14/2008

Welcome back to Hip Hop Live, where we give you the heads up on the livest shows near you! Kicking off this week is Common, who makes his way to Love nightclub in Washington, DC tonight (Nov. 7) at 6:00 PM. Indie favorite-turned-major label artist Murs [click to read] will be performing tonight as well at the Mercy Lounge in Nashville, TN at 9:00 PM. Devin the Dude [click to read] is joined onstage by the Coughee Brothaz and Umconscious at the Bluebird Theater tonight in Denver, CO at 9:00 PM. Finally, The Roots hit the stage tonight at William a Egan Civic and Convention Center in Anchorage, AK at 7:30 PM.

Moving onto Saturday (Nov. 8) , Warren G will be performing at the Venue of Scottsdale in Scottsdale, AZ at 7:00 PM. Lupe Fiasco hits the stage at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday (Nov. 12) at 8:00 PM. Prodigal Sunn will be at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood, CA the same night at 8:00 PM.

Brother Ali will be rocking the mic over at Uncle Pleasants in Louisville, KY on Thursday (Nov. 13) at 7:30 PM. Joe Budden, fresh off of the release of Halfway House, will make his way to Middle East in Cambrige, MA on Friday (Nov. 14). Also performing that night is Big Daddy Kane for his 20^th anniversary show at B.B. Kings Blues Club and Grill in New York, NY at 9:00 PM. It must be a night for Hip Hop legends, as KRS One is also perfoming on Friday, joined by Mistah Fab, Mavrik and Bo-Rat in Shattuck Down Low in Berkley, CA at 9:00 PM.

The Droppin Science Tour is underway with Zion I and the Mighty Underdogs joining forces for the following tour dates:
