Pharrell, DJ Premier, DJ Quik Remix Maroon 5

Maroon 5 will be releasing a remix album titled Call & Response due Dec. 9 on A&M/Octone, and are enlisting the help of several Hip Hop artists.

Featured on the album will be Swizz Beats, Just Blaze, Pharell Williams, David Banner, DJ Premier, Mary J Blige and others, according to Billboard.com.

"I've always found it really interesting that a group of people looking at the same painting can all see different things," said Maroon 5 lead vocalist Adam Levine, who was featured on Kanye West's song "Heard Em' Say." [click to read] "That was the idea behind this record-to take a few of our songs and have them interpreted by some of our favorite artists. We were really blown away by what they came up with."
