Star And Buc Wild Leave Pulse 87
After returning to New York radio in January, Troi "Star" Torain and Timothy "Buc Wild" Joseph are making yet another departure from radio. The duo left 87.7 WNYZ Pulse 87, the most listened to dance music station in the country, on an optimistic note earlier this week.
"I'm proud of my role in the launch of Pulse 87 and I leave with a new found respect for the dance music culture," Star said in a statement.
The departure of Star and Buc Wild was a joint decision, with the programming director of Pulse 87 wanting to maintain its "stationality" for its listeners.
"We are grateful for the opportunity to have worked with Troi Torain [Star] and his team," Alex Shvarts, Mega Media Group CEO said in a statement. "He was a big part of the launch of Pulse 87. Star is a world class talent and we wish him the best in his future endeavors."
