Nas To Perform "Queens Get The Money" At BET Awards

One of the strongest points of Nas' recent Untitled album is the effort's emotional intro, "Queens Get The Money" [click to listen]. Although the song was never packaged as an intro, the work, which includes an accapella delivery stating, "Hip Hop was aborted, so Nas breathes life back into the embryo. Let us make man in our image / Spit it, I'm Huey P in Louis V throwing Molotov for Emmitt You ain't as hot as I is / All of these fake prophets are not messiahs / You don't know how high the sky is / The square mileage of Earth, or What pi is / I'm the shaky hand that touched George Foreman in Zaire / The same hand that punched down devils that brought down the towers."

"We're doing 'Queens Get The Money' and 'Hero,'" DJ Green Lantern revealed to BET's Low Key. Asked if further details could be revealed, the deejay, who also has worked with Eminem and Immortal Technique, admitted he too, was in the dark. "No, literally, I'm about to go talk to them and see what we're doing. They literally just called me and said, 'Come talk to me, we about to go to the stage."
