Birdman Sued For Allegedly Flaking On Concert Promoter
Birdman is being sued by a concert promoter for allegedly taking $275,000 to put on a Lil Wayne concert in Miami, and backing out repeatedly.
According to TMZ, Birdman's excuse for backing out of one of the shows was because "the weather was too cold."
Birdman co-founded Cash Money Records in 1992 with brother Ronald "Slim" Williams. Since then, they have produced over 20 top five Billboard Singles and over a dozen platinum and multi-platinum albums.
Birdman's protoge, Lil Wayne, recently released Tha Carter III, which is steadily approaching triple platinum sales.
