Folks have been in a frenzy over the new Jay-Z and Uncle Murda [click to read] track [click to listen]. That's due mostly to a Fat Joe diss that Jay throws on the track. In his feature, Jigga allegedly throws a few jabs at DJ Khaled and the Terror Squad. Now, Fat Joe is speaking on the subject, too.

The track in question is "He Asked For It" and it features S. Carter using a Rakim-inspired flow to take his shots at the T.S.

Gangsta, Gangsta, how ya'll wanna do this? I clap niggas down for yappin all foolish, aint no stopping this Roc-A-Fella movement. The name is Jay Guevara, homie, who are you? And, your off-beat deejay, if anything he play sound familiar? Ill wait till Pharrell say, 'Play em.' Now Ima have to diss you, Joe. You can get a smack for that. Matter fact, the gats will blow.Your toy squad will get squashed, Boyyard dee, ya'll be lost in the sauce partly because ya'll boss aint a leader. Hes a follower. No, Im not coppin ya album or your single, you likely to go copper

But, it may be just a case of misunderstanding. Just Blaze recently blogged about the track and dispelled rumors that it is a new verse by Jay.

So for some reason people think this new Jay/Uncle Murda thing is a Fat Joe/Khaled diss. Its not. Its also like 8,000 years old and somehow dude got his hands on it and put a verse on it. Now that I recall, its Blueprint 2 era..I was going to use this verse for the S.Carter Remix CD but we couldnt get the Pro Tools in time. Dont fall for the okeydoke.

Now, Fat Joe [click to read] has released his own statement on the matter, according to Miss Info.

I have no beef whatsoever with Jay-Z. In fact, we share a common goalhelping to get Barack Obama elected on November 4th, he said.
