Queen Latifah has been facing rumors that she is gay for quite awhile. The rapper/singer/actress is keeping her private life to herself. When she was recently confronted with gay rumors again, Latifah said she'd rather not speak on her own personal lifestyle.

"I don't have a problem discussing the topic of somebody being gay, but I do have a problem discussing my personal life," she told The New York Times this week.

Later, she went on to add that she is not sharing that part of herself with anyone.

"You don't get that part of me. Sorry. We're not discussing it in our meetings, we're not discussing it at Cover Girl...nobody gets that."

With a defiant stance, she finally added that it didn't make a difference if she spoke on the subject because speculations would nevertheless be made.

"I don't feel like I need to share my personal life, and I don't care if people think I'm gay or not. Assume whatever you want. You do it anyway."

Latifah is currently promoting her work in The Secret Life of Bees, a new film she is on.
