Chuck D Donates Protest Sign To Auction
Joining R.E.M.'s Michael Stipe, and various musicians hailing from Rage Against The Machine, The Flaming Lips, Spoon, and others in donating signs, designed and painted by the artists, as protest vehicles for various causes. Paying homage to one of his classic anthems, Chuck D's sign, in black paint on white board, reads "'Bring the Noise' Protest!"
The signs first appeared in this month's issue of Under The Radar magazine, and can be seen [here]. The pieces will go to auction September 30, and monies raised will go to War Child International, the outreach charity implemented to help children affected by war.
