Kanye West and road manager Don Crowley were leased yesterday (Sept. 11) afternoon from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Pacific Division on $20,000 bail.
As previously reported, West and Crowley were arrested after they damaged paparazzi cameras [click to read]. The cameras were valued at over $10,000, and both men were charged with felony vandalism.
According to TMZ.com, when police intervened and asked whether one of the paparazzi managed to film the scene, he said he had. Allegedly, West lunged for the tape, saying “Give me that fucking tape.” Police restrained the superstar and took both him and Crowley into custody.

Initial reports indicated that Crowley was also charged with
battery. However, police determined that no battery had occurred,
following their initial investigation.
