Hip Hop Live is back in the building, folks, and we’ve got some info on some great shows this week! Kicking it off this week is a rather unexpected artist – Vanilla Ice. The bane of white rappers everywhere will be performing today (Sept. 5) at 7:00 PM at Cardos in Chillicothe, OH. Nas has several shows this week: Today (Sept. 5), 8:00 PM, First Avenue, Minneapolis, MN; Tuesday (Sept. 9), 8:30 PM, New Oasis, Sparks, NV; Thursday (Sept. 11), 9:00 PM, Senator Theatre, Chico, CA;  and finally, Friday (Sept. 12), 8:00 PM, House of Blues Atlantic City, Atlantic City, NJ.

Ice Cube  also has quite a busy week, as he tours in support of his new album, Raw Footage [click to read]. Cube makes stops on the following dates: Today (Sept. 5), 8:00 PM, Sunshine Theatre, Albuquerque, NM; Sunday (Sept. 7), 9:00 PM, Ogden Theatre, Denver, CO. The west coast legend will also perform on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

DJ Quik [click to read] performs twice this week – first, at the Venue of Scottsdale in Scottsdale, AZ at 8:00 PM today (Sept. 5); then, Quik can be found the next day at the Key Club in Los Angeles, CA at 8:00 PM. Detroit’s Esham will be performing in his hometown at Magic Stick on Saturday (Sept. 6) at 8:00 PM. Three 6 Mafia will be showing up at the Venue of Scottsdale on the same day at 8:00 PM.

Finally, HipHopDX’s most anticipated show of the week…

…is Blitz the Ambassador [click to read] and the Embassy Ensemble on Saturday (Sept. 6) at 8:00 PM at the Blender Theater in New York City, NY!
