Rock frontman Chris Cornell will be releasing a Timbaland-produced album, Scream, on October 14, via Suretone/Interscope, according to Billboard.com.

Those unfamiliar with Cornell’s work can look to Soundgarden and Audioslave, two popular, guitar-driven bands which both met with considerable success.

So what will Chris Cornell sound like with Timbaland’s production backing him? Fans can check out the duo’s first collaboration on Cornell’s MySpace page, titled “Long Gone.” Another track, “Ground Zero,” which features Timbaland, is also available on the page, along with a snippet of a third, “Watch Out.”
