Consequence And G.O.O.D. Music Host NYC Concert

As one of the first artists signed to Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music imprint, veteran emcee Consequence [click to read] has helped take the brand east of Chicago for over the last five years. Next Tuesday, September 9, the act continues, as the Queens rapper headlines "G.O.O.D. Music Takes Over The Knitting Factory." The event is sponsored by Cons' own imprint, Band Camp Records.

"I am very excited to be headlining [this event]. It is an honor to be performing with such a diverse and talented group of individuals for one special night," Consequence told DX Wednesday evening. "The Internet and sites like HipHopDX have been very instrumental in helping each artist on the bill build their momentum and establish their brand. I consider these artist the next generation of Hip Hop and I can't wait to see everyone hit the stage."

The talented group of individuals mentioned, includes labelmates GLC, Kid Cudi [click to view] and Big Sean [click to read].

Also performing will be Wale [click to read], Mickey Factz [click to read] and Termanology.

Consequence is presently working on his sophomore album, You Win Some, You Lose Some, due soon.
