Floyd Mayweather Jr Robbed For $7 Million In Jewelery
Las Vegas detectives last week sent out a press release, seeking assistance from the public in solving a case in which "four people forcefully entered a home in a gated community in the northwest part of the Las Vegas Valley, taking unique items." The press release did not name Mayweather as the victim. It was only discovered that it was Mayweather's home that was burglarized when on Tuesday (Sept 2) a representative of the Floyd Mayweather Jr. Foundation announced a $100,000 reward for information leading to recovery of the stolen items.
The Mayweather home did have security cameras although their footage proved largely unusable. A grainy shot of one suspect was transformed into a still image by investigators.
