Suge Knight Released On $19,000 Bail
Less than two days after being locked up for assaulting his girlfriend [click to read], Suge Knight is out of jail.
Posting a $19,000 bail, Knight was released from the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas yesterday. The assault stemmed from an argument between Knight and his girlfriend earlier the previous morning, which resulted in a 911 response from police that witnessed Suge Knight standing over the woman with a knife. The woman was immediately sent to the hospital with minor injuries.
Besides the felony for assault, Knight was also charged with illegal possession of drugs as ecstacy and hydrocodone were found in the initial search.
Along with paying the hefty bond, Knight is also expected to appear in court in Las Vegas on September 26th to answer the charges. At 43 years of age, this is just one of many run-ins with the law for the co-founder of Death Row Records.
