Kryptic takes Battle of the Beats 2001

In what was billed as Canada vs. USA, our cousins to the South won a close one. Maybe we'll get'em next time.
Producer Vinny, from New York's Kryptic production crew won the final round of battles with a beat that was voted to be better than one made by Canada's Fiveplate. The final tally was close, with Kryptic winning 129-114, by an internet panel and celebrity judges which included MC Collizhun (Nefarius) and Mr. Murray (Grassroots) reppin Canada, and El Da Sensei and Wordworth reppin the States.
Kryptic wins cash and prizes, as well as getting to produce for former Artifact-cum-underground staple El Da Sensei.
