August 27th, 2008 | Author: Danielle Harling

With the help of New York Times best-selling author Karen Hunter, Sandra "Pepa" Denton has written a new book entitled Let's Talk About Pep.

Let's Talk About Pep will delve into the personal life of Pepa, who is most well known for being one half of the ground-breaking Hip Hop group Salt-N-Pepa. The book will discuss Pepa's childhood, surviving abuse, her first encounters with Cheryl "Salt" James, her failed marriages, and the break-up and reunion of Salt-N-Pepa.

Salt-N-Pepa was formed in 1986 and has been an empowering force for females in Hip Hop since its creation.

Aside from music, Pepa has also appeared on The Surreal Life and The Salt-N-Pepa Show.

Let's Talk About Pep
will be released in September and features an introduction by Queen Latifah [click to read] and an epilogue by Missy Elliott.
