Tribe Out, Black Star in at Denver Rock The Bells
Denver Hip Hop fans looking to see A Tribe Called Quest at this years Rock The Bells concert will have to wait another day as the group has cancelled their performance due to Phifes health.
According to reports, Phife is suffering from complications from diabetes.
Fans that will miss out on the Tribe performance will be in for another treat in the form of a rare Black Star performance.
"We are very disappointed that A Tribe Called Quest will be unable to perform in Denver,"Guerilla Union's Chang Weisberg told the Denver Post. "We are glad that Phife Dawg is feeling better and wish him the best for a speedy recovery... With that said, Talib Kweli has agreed to make the trip all the way from Zurich, Switzerland to join Mos Def..."
A Tribe Called Quest is still scheduled to perform Sept. 6 in Washington at the Gorge in George.
