DMX To Star In A Reality Show

With his recent run-ins with the law it seems as if the world has been seeing a lot of rapper DMX over the past few weeks, but in the near future fans of the New York rapper can expect to see a lot more.

DMX and Phoenix, Arizona-based company After Platinum Entertainment are teaming up to produce DMX's first ever reality show.

The reality show, entitled This Life Of Mine, will focus on DMX's family life as well as his legal worries and self-rehabilitation.

"In many ways, my life has been an open book," DMX said in a statement. "But I haven't always been the one writing the story. With this show, however, people will get to see and hear with their own eyes and ears what really goes on in my life and I think they'll come to understand me a little bit better with each episode."

According to Ernie Romero, CEO of After Platinum Entertainment, several television networks have expressed interest in the show.

"When we were approached about doing this show, we knew right away that we wanted to be involved. DMX is a complex man and this show will reveal his many sides: the street side and the spiritual side, all rolled up in one," Ernie Romero explained in a statement.

DMX has appeared in several films including Exit Wounds and Romeo Most Die; DMX also made an appearance on the MTV reality show Trippin' in 2005.
