Killer Mike Speaks About Big Boi Reconciliation
Today, a video (posted below) surfaced of Killer Mike [click to read] and OutKast's Big Boi setting aside differences stemming from a war of words earlier in the week [click to read].
"I haven't even seen it," said Mike with a laugh to HipHopDX this evening. "I am extremely happy that we can provide the supporters of Dungeon Family, OutKast and Killer Mike and Grind Time with the ending that they called for. We were directed to do this by the people who listen to our music. I'm glad that both of us stepped up and showed our maturity as men, put our egos aside, and put peace on pop."
The emcee, presently at The Ozone Awards, added, "Hopefully, it'll lead to great music. And fans are saying that they hope to hear the great music at shows. Hopefully it'll lead to what was always meant to be."
The emcee who just released I Pledge Allegiance To Grind Time II [click to read] wants to do shows much sooner. "I'm fighting so hard to get on anybody's tour right now. I'm making great music now, it's just about making it heard. [I am] where The Roots [click to read] were 10 years ago, where Talib [Kweli] [click to read] was seven years ago. I really am just hoping to get in front of anybody. On any tour."
