Chris Brown To Play Killer In New Film The Heist

Chris Brown's a killer. Well, at least he's going to play one in a new film, The Heist, one that also features T.I. [click to read] and Matt Dillon. What's the film going to look like? What can we expect? All those questions have been sent over to Brown, who claims he's going to remain tight lipped about the operation.

"It's a movie called The Heist that I'm doing with T.I., Idris Elba and Matt Dillon," the star told MTV.

While trying to remain secretive about the film, he actually let out a few more details.

"I'm playing a killer. I'm not going to give anything else away!" he said, before giving more stuff away. "It's a bank-robbing movie, so it's one of those action-packed films. You get a little different side of me in that movie."

Brown's also working on other films. Caramel, Bone Deep and Phenom are set to be released next year and are all in post-production.

With all of this move talk, Brown doesn't want fans to think he's shying away from music.

"At the end of the day, I'm going to focus on my music first. [But] me being onstage enhances me being in the movie, and then me being in the movie acting, catching characters gives me time to transform into a different character onstage."
