In a somewhat ironic choice of products, Dr. Dre and Interscope Geffen A&M Records have made a joint venture with beverage company Drinks Americas to release "Aftermath Cognac" in the next 60 days...apparently in time for Detox.

According to Billboard.com, Drinks Americas announced in an earnings statement that it would be introducing the cognac via Abecassis Cognac, a cognac producer.

Also released within the next 60 days will be an 80-proof flavored and unflavored sparkling vodka.

What is sure to be the most exciting news for Hip Hop fans is Drinks Americas' claim that the cognac and vodka would be introduced at the same time as Dr. Dre's long-awaited album Detox, and be part of the an integrated marketing plan surrounding the project.

Recently, Dre stated that Detox would be released in November or December [click to read].
