Slim Thug is back on his grind again – without Interscope/Star Trak/Geffen behind him. As DX reported a few months ago [click to read], Slim Thug was ready to bolt from Interscope in favor of an independent label for a number of reasons. Today we find Slim Thug preparing his latest release from his Boss Hogg Outlawz crew on Koch records.
Slim Thug, PJ Tha Rap Hustla, Sir Daily, Chris Ward and Killa Kyleon – along with new members J-Dawg and Young Black - will come together as Tha Boss Hogg Outlawz and release their second album entitled Back By Blockular Demand (Serve & Collect 2) on September 2nd via Koch. The group has recently released the video “Ridin’ Wit No Ceiling” through the internet and are preparing their next video “Keep It Playa” with Ray J.
In the meanwhile, expect to see Slim Thug’s upcoming album, tentatively titled Boss Of All Bosses, coming soon via Koch as well.
