On August 6, Miami rapper Rick Ross and his charity organization Rick Ross Charities will hold their second annual Be Out Day at Miami Carol City Park.
As part of Be Out Day children will receive free backpacks filled with school supplies and there will also be free food and drinks, health screenings, and entertainment; the event is free and open to the public.
Last years Be Out Day included big name performances by Flo Rida, Yung Joc, Brisco, Gorilla Zoe and DJ Khaled.
Created in 2006, Rick Ross Charities not only holds their Be Out Day every year, but they have also given out scholarships, held financial seminars, holiday giveaways, and more.
According to their website, the mission of Rick Ross Charities is to, "strengthen the lives of today's at-risk youth from all backgrounds and create diversity by providing solid resources through education advocacy, mentoring programs and financial resources to deserving students."
Recently, Rick Ross released his second album Trilla which sold 198,000 units in its first week.
