Following his dead prez partner stic.man's work with Nas, M-1 [click to read] says
the group's new album - titled Information Age - will be released in
November.
When HipHopDX caught up with M-1 at Los Angeles' Do Over Lounge Sunday, he was coy about the album's contents. "It's Let's Get Free 2009" he said, when asked about the album's direction, referring to the group's seminal debut on Loud Records that spawned the single "Hip-Hop."
M-1, who released Confidential on Sotti Records via Koch Distribution several years ago, said Information Age doesn't have a label or distributor yet. The emcee went on to state that neither was necessary or something the group required to release this album.
As far as production, he was also mum, but did add that production will come from outside as well as from stic.man.
