Kanye West Denies Anger Management Rumors

July 8th, 2008 | Author: Omar Burgess

Kanye West is vehemently denying all reports that his management team has urged him to take anger management classes. The rumor surfaced on July 4, when Chicago Sun-Times columnist Bill Zwecker reported [click to read] he heard as much from someone in West's camp.

"A West insider tells me the entertainer's own management team dreamed up the idea, for two reasons: to help his personal psychological well-being and relationship with friends--and to aid in him snaring lucrative endorsement deals," says Zwecker.

Zwecker also added two major corporations were hesitant to work with Kanye due to his ill-timed emotional outbursts. Apparently none of the unnamed corporations Zwecker mentioned were Louis Vuitton. During fashion week West told Women's Wear Daily [click to read] he is working on a line of men's shoes and a separate line of women's clothing for the high end company.

After Rolling Stone ran a similar anger management story on July 7, West responded to the anger management rumor via his own blog at Kanyeuniversecity.com [click to read] saying, "I have never had any conversations about anger management. If anything, I need anger enhancement!!...I told the media you can't make up lies about me because I have a media outlet myself. Oh and sidebar I don't know if everyone has realized this yet but I don't do interviews if there's anything I wanna say I'll say right here on my own blog."
