Singer Amy Winehouse has lung damage and an irregular heart beat caused by smoking crack cocaine and cigarettes and will have to wear an oxygen mask unless she stops taking drugs, according to her father Mitch.
“The doctors have told her if she goes back to smoking drugs, it won’t just ruin her voice, it will kill her,”Mitch Winehouse told The Sunday Mirror. “There are nodules around the chest and dark marks. She has 70 percent lung capacity.”
The embattled Winehouse, passed out on June 16 after signing autographs for fans outside of her north London home and has remained in the hospital since.

Despite her numerous appearances in tabloids and the news, Winehouse is estimated to be worth around $20 million and has received a plethora of awards for her album Back To Black.
As of today, Winehouse still plans on performing at Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday celebration.
