Stopping by Brooklyn-based True Stories Radio, DJ Whoo Kid discussed a handful of topics concerning 50 Cent [click to read], the Internet, and a charity of his own.

Wanting to set the record straight on the infamous video clip of 50 Cent being the victim of a chain snatching, Whoo Kid called out the lack of security and stated the scenario was bound to happen. “It was just a very uncontrollable situation where you have like 100,000 Africans, no security, and 50 Cent. I mean it was just a nightmare. And you can see when we were up on stage, prior to the guy jumping at him, there was like eight or nine other cats that we had to punch off stage or push off. And they were really fans, trying to hug him, you know? But it was very uncontrollable, the security was wack, and that’s exactly what you see happen.

Showing his philanthropist side, Whoo Kid also touched on an expected plan he has in the works to aide his native country of Haiti. “I’m putting together a charity for Haiti; I’m just trying to situate that. Everybody is gonna know about that charity in another month. I’m teaming up with Wyclef [Jean] and a couple other cats that I do business with in the Haitian world. We also have plans for a TV show in Haiti and a radio show system; we’re looking to start a whole other system. We’re just waiting for the politicians and the gangs to get out of there.

With his team fully entrenched in ThisIs50.com, DJ Whoo Kid then commented on the state of the Internet to the Hip Hop world. “The internet, it rules us right now. It really proves whether your shit is hot or not. And you can control it and make it work for you, like Thisis50. 50 Cent is already foreseeing the future. Everything is gonna be digital downloads, so he’s using the internet as a machine for him in his future projects and shit like that.
